The Area of Logistic Activities (ZAL) of the Port of Sevilla, located within the port complex of Andalusia’s capital, is characterized by the quality of its buildings, its practical design, an excellent location and its intermodality.

The ZAL Sevilla is extremely close to the city centre and has excellent connections with the road and rail networks, which means it has aroused enormous interest in the companies in the area.

The ZAL is conceived as the response to the process of redesign of global distribution networks. It forms a part of the general plans currently being developed in Sevilla to improve the integration of the Port into the city as a whole.

In December 2007, abertis logística was awarded the concession for building and managing the expansion of the ZAL of the Port of Sevilla. ZAL II will mean 18.5 hectares more in buildings and 107,000 square metres of new logistic warehouses.
